Barbie has been around for generations. I grew up playing with the doll and now I have a daughter who is obsessed. Thanks to blogging, I get opportunities to attend awesome events and work with amazing brands like Mattel Inc. – Barbie South Africa. When I was invited to the #BarbieRocksSA event, I knew this would be a dream come true for my 3-year-old. She counted down to the day, planned her outfit and of course invited her best friend (her cousin) to join her in celebrating Barbie.
On the 12th of September, the Barbie in Rock ‘n Royals DVD launched at Montecasino – Johannesburg. It was everything pink and I think every little girl that attended felt like a princess. The event was themed around the DVD which was campaigned with a competition: Show Us Your Shine. Singing sensation PJ Powers performance was the highlight of the day which made almost every little girl run up to the front and join in the song and dance. It was a day my daughter will never forget especially since she came home with loads of Barbie goodies.
About the movie:
It’s an upbeat musical, with Barbie™ starring as Princess Courtney, a modern princess whose world is turned upside down when she switches places with Erika, a famous rock star. Two very different worlds collide when a mix-up sends Princess Courtney to Camp Pop and Erika, to Camp Royalty. While the leaders of the rival camps try to correct the mix-up, both Courtney and Erika learn to adjust to the different worlds and have fun while making new, unexpected friends. When the girls learn both camps are at risk of shutting down, they must embrace their differences, find their true voices, and come together for an epic sing-off that shows anything is possible when you dare to dream big! Barbie honors heroes like Princess Courtney and Erika who help break boundaries and prove girls can be anything they want to be.
The message: Everyone can unlock their dreams if they just try.

Copper scrap legislation Copper poisoning is a relatively rare condition that occurs when excessive amounts of copper accumulate in the body. While copper is an essential nutrient that plays an important role in several bodily functions, such as iron absorption and the formation of red blood cells, high levels of copper can be toxic and cause harm. Several factors can increase the risk of copper poisoning. These include: 1. Genetic disorders: Certain genetic disorders, such as Wilson’s disease and Menkes kinky hair syndrome, can cause copper to build up in the body, leading to toxicity. 2. Environmental exposure: Exposure to high levels of copper in the environment can also increase the risk of poisoning. This can occur in individuals who work in copper mines or in occupations that involve exposure to copper dust or fumes. 3. Consumption of copper-rich foods or supplements: Eating or drinking large amounts of copper-rich foods or taking copper supplements can raise copper levels in the body and lead to toxicity. 4. Long-term use of copper products: Individuals who use copper-based products, such as copper IUDs (intrauterine devices) or copper pipes in their homes, may be at increased risk of copper poisoning if the products malfunction or degrade over time. The symptoms of copper poisoning can vary depending on the severity of the toxicity and the duration of exposure. Mild cases may present with gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, while more severe cases can cause neurological symptoms such as tremors, seizures, and coma. If you suspect that you or someone you know may be at risk of copper poisoning, it is important to seek medical attention immediately. A doctor can perform tests to assess copper levels in the body and recommend appropriate treatment, which may include chelation therapy to remove excess copper from the body Scrap metal recovery and recycling yard Copper scrap stock management Copper scrap sourcing network Copper scrap evaluation Copper radiator scrap buyer Metal scrap baling
Copper recycling process Copper has a long history of use in computing, dating back to the early days of the industry. The metal is prized for its excellent conductivity, which makes it ideal for use in electrical wiring and circuitry. One of the most common uses of copper in computing is for the production of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Copper is an excellent conductor of electricity, and it is used to create the pathways that connect the various components of a PCB. These pathways are etched onto the surface of the board, and the copper is left behind to form the electrical connections. In addition to its use in PCBs, copper is also widely used in computer cables and connectors. Copper wiring is used in everything from Ethernet cables to the power cords that connect our devices to the wall. Copper connectors are also used in a variety of applications, including USB cables and audio cables. Another important use of copper in computing is in heat sinks. Heat sinks are used to dissipate the heat generated by computer components such as CPUs and graphics cards. Copper is an excellent material for heat sinks because it conducts heat very well. This helps to keep the computer components cool and prevents damage from overheating. One of the challenges that designers and engineers face when working with copper in computing is the issue of oxidation. When copper is exposed to air, it reacts with the oxygen to form copper oxide. This can create problems with electrical conductivity and can lead to corrosion over time. To address this issue, many computer components are coated with a layer of protective material to prevent oxidation. Despite these challenges, copper remains a key material in modern computing. Its excellent electrical conductivity and heat dissipation properties make it ideal for a wide range of applications. As the demand for faster and more powerful computing continues to grow, copper will no doubt play an increasingly important role in the industry Scrap metal recycling facility Copper scrap advertising Copper scrap marketing strategies Industrial copper reprocessing Copper scrap price negotiation Metal scrap buyers
