Couple weeks back I attended one of the best events thus far for this year. Samsung South Africa dedicated a night to moms. It’s not often we as bloggers get invited to an event that insists you to bring your mom, so I wasn’t planning on missing this opportunity.
Samsung has always been known to have big launches but this was something small and intimate. The guest list was carefully chosen and everyone there had an opportunity to mingle with each other. I finally met Jo-Anne Strauss (Former Miss South Africa) who I’ve been communicating with over email and twitter the past couple months and bumped into the talented singer LeAnne Dlamini.
The night was dedicated to all things clean. 😉 No one knows better about washing than moms right? When I walked in and saw the Activ dualwash, I thought to myself: “Oh, it’s just another washing machine that must be super expensive”. But actually it isn’t and the features surprised me.
I’ve always had a front loader and the reason for that is because of the cupboard space in my kitchen but if I had a choice, I wouldn’t mind moving over to a top loader.
So what is the big deal about this washing machine?
It’s innovatively designed with a built-in sink with water jet and gentle scrubbing surface, this groundbreaking solution saves time, reduces effort and avoids mess by enabling consumers to presoak, hand scrub and auto wash the entire wash process in the washing machine instead of having to spread the process out over multiple locations.

A closer look at the product’s features reveals many benefits:
Sink and Water Jet
The activ dualwash system includes a dedicated sink that provides a convenient space to soak and/or hand-wash delicate items and comfortably pre-treat heavily stained areas of clothes before starting a normal wash cycle. The water jet which starts and stops at the push of a button, provides access to water, thus allowing for easy soaking and scrubbing. Once finished, the laundry and water can easily be poured into the machine by simply lifting the sink. This drops the items into the tub below for a spotless wash that completes the effortless, all-in-one washing process.
Magic Dispenser
The Magic Dispenser eliminates the annoyance of residual detergent on fabric. It achieves this by creating a powerful water vortex that dissolves detergent and disperses it evenly before the wash cycle starts.
Magic Filter
The Magic Filter takes care of the details that make your clothes look fresh and clean. By gathering lint, fluff and particles, it keeps unwelcome specks off your whites and darks, so you can look good without having to inspect and tidy the little things. It is easy to clean and it does all this while protecting your drain from getting clogged.
Wobble Technology
The activ dualwash utilises Samsung’s revolutionary Wobble technology to protect delicate fabrics from friction damage without compromising the washing performance. State-of-the-art Wobble pulsators generate a dynamic, multi-directional washing flow that prevents tangles, twists and knots while thoroughly cleaning your clothes with increased washing power that requires less water consumption.
Rear Control Panel
This extremely imaginative washing machine features a Rear Control Panel. Located at the back of the machine, it provides better visibility and ease of use while also being protected from water splashes during hand and pre-washing. The panel’s dual cluster design clearly separates the control buttons so that they are much simpler to learn and intuitive to use.
Additional Features and Benefits
The active dualwash top loader’s Diamond Drum boasts a highly original design that treats clothes with more care than a conventional drum. Its smooth, diamond-shaped ridges are supremely gentle on even the most delicate items, and its small water exit holes prevent fabric from becoming trapped and damaged so that garments remain intact and look good for longer. Its Eco Tub Clean course keeps the tub clean without the need for chemicals, which results in a substantial biofilm reduction, while the activ dualwash’s Digital Inverter Technology delivers superior energy efficiency, minimal noise and long-lasting performance, and all of this backed up by a 10 year warranty on the motor (*model specific).
So the next time you shopping for a new washing machine, consider the Activ dualwash.

Copper scrap legal compliance Copper, one of the earliest metals to be used by humans, has been an essential component of human civilization since the beginning of recorded history. The use of copper dates back to the Bronze Age, around 3000 BC. However, the exact timeline of the copper age is difficult to establish, as it was a gradual process and not a sudden discovery. The first evidence of copper use can be traced back to the Middle East, where copper artifacts from 4500 BC have been found. Copper was used for a range of purposes in the ancient world, including making tools, weapons, and jewelry. Copper is a relatively abundant metal that can be found in various parts of the world, but it was particularly prevalent in the Middle East, where early civilizations developed. Copper was discovered by these early civilizations as they learned to smelt ores and extract the metal from them. Copper was first used for decorative purposes, such as jewelry, but its usefulness soon extended to practical applications as well. Early copper tools and weapons were made by hammering copper into shape, but as metallurgical techniques advanced, copper was also cast into molds to create more complex shapes. As the use of copper became more widespread, different cultures developed unique methods of working with the metal. For example, in the Andes, native peoples developed the technique of alloying copper with tin to create bronze, a harder and more durable material. In Europe, the use of copper became more widespread during the Bronze Age, which lasted from around 2000 BC to 1200 BC. During this time, copper was alloyed with tin and other metals to create bronze, which was used to make tools, weapons, and ceremonial objects. The use of copper continued to expand, and by the time of the Roman Empire, copper was being used for a wide range of purposes, including plumbing, coinage, and architectural decoration. The Romans even used copper as a preservative to help keep their wine fresh. Today, copper is still used for a wide range of purposes, from electrical wiring to architectural design. The demand for copper continues to grow, and new technologies are being developed to make use of this versatile metal in even more ways. Copper’s importance in the development of human civilization cannot be overstated, and it will no doubt continue to play a vital role in our lives for years to come Scrap metal repurposing solutions Copper scrap shipment tracking Copper scrap recycling Copper scrap trading platform Certified copper scrap buyers Scrap metal retrieval services
Copper tubing recycling Copper is a naturally occurring element that is present in the environment in small amounts. It is found in rocks, soils, water, plants, and animals. While copper is essential for the human body in small amounts, excessive exposure to copper can be harmful to human health. Copper exposure can occur through several sources, including ingestion, inhalation, and dermal contact. Drinking water can be a significant source of copper exposure, especially if the water is delivered through copper pipes. Prolonged exposure to high levels of copper in drinking water can cause gastrointestinal problems, liver damage, and kidney damage. Copper exposure can also occur from air pollution. Copper is released into the air by industrial processes such as smelting, mining, and combustion of fossil fuels. People who live near industrial sites are at a higher risk of copper exposure. Exposure to high levels of copper in the air can cause respiratory problems, lung damage, and irritation of the eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. Exposure to copper can also occur through food, particularly in foods that are high in copper or that have been stored in copper containers. Some people with Wilson’s disease, a genetic disorder that causes excess copper to accumulate in the liver and other organs, are particularly sensitive to copper exposure. While copper exposure can be harmful to human health, it is important to note that most people are exposed to low levels of copper in the environment that are not harmful. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established a maximum contaminant level (MCL) of 1.3 milligrams per liter (mg/L) for copper in drinking water to protect public health. In conclusion, while copper is a necessary element for the human body, excessive exposure to copper can be harmful to human health. It is essential to monitor copper levels in drinking water and limit exposure to copper through other sources Metal reuse center Copper radiator scrap buyer Scrap copper trading Copper carbonate recycling Copper scrap industry partnerships Metal waste inspection services
