Kitana’s Royal High Tea – Sofia the first

This year we decided to throw a party for Kitana because she turned 2 on August 2nd and we didn’t have a big party for her last year. To be honest I don’t believe in 1st birthday parties, so last year we just did smash the cake which was awesome! It was still a celebration but with immediate family only.searched a lot on the internet to get ideas for a Royal Princess High tea. I knew what I wanted from Day 1 but honestly I could not do it on my own. I decided to contact Melinda from Pretty things for you to assist me in making my vision a reality.

I’m so glad I called her because she definitely achieved what I wanted. Melinda is creative, she adds that extra touch to make it perfect. Together we worked on ideas and planned what I wanted for the day. We hired a magician, face painter and build a cupcake for the kids while the adults indulged in high tea treats. To be honest, the party was a last-minute decision because we thought we would be overseas but we managed to pull it off in 2 weeks.

I did want to add my personal touch to the party so I created the invite, posters and worked on the DIY printables which I found on the internet.

For my baked goods, I only wanted one person and that was Rezana from The Whimsical Whisk. She is amazing at what she does, the cakes and sweet treats was so yummy that Vije and I didn’t taste the birthday cake 🙁 …

  33. Oh my goodness, talk about a little girl’s dream. Heck I always dreamed of having a party like this. My mom really wasn’t into things like this, but you can dream can’t you, and besides purple is my most favorite color and my granddaughters love lilac and they would go ape over this. Hmmmm Must take notes.
