Last Sunday we hosted our first ladies event for the year, it was a huge success! We decided to share the Style Tips given at the event by Ridhima Makhija (Freelance Fashion Stylist).
As a mother to be or new moms, bringing to the word “change” a whole new meaning, I am sure one feels like a ball of mood swings when it comes to shopping. There is no reason to not celebrate every moment of this magnanimous change and be the envy of the other side. You don’t have to launch an outfit hunt every time you receive an invite and neither do you have to look like you couldn’t care to make an effort. Here is what you can indulge without thinking twice about growing out of it every few weeks.
Costume jewellery:
Time to ditch that pearl string you have been wearing forever and take a dip in the sea of costume jewellery. Spend wisely on statement neckpieces, cocktail rings, chandelier earrings, hand harnesses and my favourite item of them all hand cuffs. Costume jewellery is the category to indulge in when changing size has become your dilemma. These pieces will be faithful to you through your pregnancy and after, a wardrobe investment for as long as you take care of them.
Hello Pretty has this gorgeous cocktail ring and its at a reasonable price.
The” it” clutch:
Invest in a great clutch in or post your crucial nine, this piece of arm candy will swing your mood from “murder” to “truce” when you are thinking of WHAT TO WEAR and your choices are few. Imagine a lace swing dress accommodating your glorious fullness and a rose gold clutch adding the right proportion of glamour to that silhouette. A hand harness adorning your wrist will just up the ante on your glamour quotient. When selecting the “it” clutch go for metallic or neutral colours especially if you are going to be naughty spending on designer labels, this way your swing dress can change colours but the clutch will never leave your side.
Nail art:
Art is not for walls alone and so we know it, thanks to the salons who make our nails a big deal and pamper them just right. You don’t have to grow talons to show off your almost edible looking nail art. Clipped nails can look just as attractive with the right colour and Swarovski on them. I won’t design your nails for you, the real designer is in the next nail art salon and she will make sure you are noticed for all the right reasons on your next yummy mummy rendezvous.
PS: The oh so cute bump and the new mummy glow are always the right reasons to get noticed, beautiful nails just stretch the pleasure of being the centre of all attention.
Shoes:
Last but not the least, let’s discuss the only size proof investment worth opening a museum for, shoes.. Shoes.. SHOES.
I understand that one’s feet do change shape or size in the “happy nine” but with the right insole, gel pads and thousand other shoe gadgets tweaking them to your comfort is achievable. I am not professing mean heels ( even though a thousand shoe bites wouldn’t make me give them up) but I confess ignoring them for the huge array of yummy ballet pumps, loafers, moccasins and brogues available these days. A visit to some online shopping havens will show you where all these delicious things are hiding. Invest in some metallic shades and different shapes and you are on our way to shoe closet heaven.
Pregnancy is a challenging phase for the body. Don’t let your closet worries cheat you of your special moments. Indulge in some size proof shopping to turn a few heads!!

Scrap copper waste disposal Copper has been used by humans for thousands of years due to its ability to easily conduct both heat and electricity. The earliest evidence of copper use dates back to ancient civilizations in what is now modern-day Turkey and Iraq, where copper objects have been found at archaeological sites dating as far back as 8700 BCE. Over time, humans learned to extract copper from its ores and use it for a variety of purposes. In ancient Egypt, copper was used to make weapons, tools, and jewelry, while the ancient Greeks used copper for coins and decorative items. In the Middle Ages, copper was used to make bells and brass for cannons. Today, copper is used for a wide range of applications, including electrical wiring, plumbing pipes, and industrial machinery. Copper alloys, which are formed by combining copper with other metals such as zinc and tin, offer additional benefits such as increased strength and resistance to corrosion. Bronze, which is made by combining copper with tin, was used by ancient civilizations for statues and weapons, and is still used today for bearings and bushings. Copper and copper alloys are also widely used in the construction industry, due to their strength, durability, and ease of fabrication. Copper roofing, for example, is valued for its longevity and resistance to weathering, while copper pipes are commonly used for plumbing and HVAC systems. In addition to its practical applications, copper has long been prized for its aesthetic qualities. The reddish-orange color of copper has been used in decorative arts for centuries, including in jewelry, sculpture, and architectural design. Today, copper is also valued for its sustainability, as it is easily recyclable and can be used as a substitute for less environmentally-friendly materials in many applications Metal recovery services Scrap Copper wire Copper scrap supply chain Copper scrap recovery efficiency Copper scrap community outreach Metal recovery and reclaiming
