Baking is now a Sunday afternoon tradition in the Vijendranath household. The entire family gets together and creates delicious treats in the kitchen but we are still experimenting. How you may ask?

Last week Kitana and I decided to tackle two packs of Sasko Quick Treats. Kitana loves cookies and I love muffins so we thought this would be perfect to start with.

Firstly, I love that I don’t need to rush out to the store to buy extra ingredients. Everything needed is already in my cupboard and secondly it’s amazing to know that I only need 3 ingredients to create cookies which often includes the Sasko Quick Treats pack. I tried making cookies before and it was horrible but this time around it was perfect. You would think I bought them from the local bakery.

The muffin mixes (Chocolate and Bran) are still my favourite. I think it’s one of those products I will always buy extra of and keep in my cupboard for those days when I get unexpected visitors. Why serve something from a box when you can surprise your guests with freshly baked muffins? Especially on a winter’s day.
