Note: I had the opportunity to review the Radisson Blu Sandton hotel and was gifted one night stay which included a spa treatment, breakfast, and dinner.
When last did you and your partner take time out to celebrate love? Your marriage? Your achievements?
My husband Vije and I have worked extremely hard on our startup companies last year and even though we traveled a lot recently, it wasn’t really a holiday.
We needed a break! We needed to reconnect and celebrate our anniversary which was in April.
Sometimes, taking a break in the city helps! We were close to home but we could relax a bit and enjoy a babymoon.
A change of environment makes a big difference!
ABOUT Radisson Blu Hotels:
Radisson Blu has hotels located worldwide including Disney World Paris which I am hoping to visit one day with the kids! The brand is known for great design, food and customer service.
The Radisson Blu Hotel Sandton Johannesburg is in the heart of the city’s upscale business district and within walking distance of Gautrain Station, which connects to Johannesburg and the OR Tambo International Airport.
Whilst staying here, you can take advantage of this prime location only minutes from attractions such as Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton City shopping center and many restaurants.
Even though we live like 20-minutes away from the hotel, I was very excited to stay here!
I wanted to take this opportunity to sleep in a bit and enjoy the hotel’s facilities and not go out which we would normally do.
FIRST IMPRESSION?
I love the design and welcome area of the hotel. It’s elegant and screams out class!
I’ve been there twice before for meetings so I knew what to expect when I walked in – I absolutely love the bar/lounge area for meetings and to relax with a cup of tea and cake ;).
Radisson Blu Sandton is recommended as a favorite for a business stay however but I think it can pass as a family hotel too.
OUR ROOM EXPERIENCE:
The rooms are very cozy and spacious. I wanted to go under the blanket immediately when I entered! My favorite is definitely the amazing views from the room. You have an opportunity to appreciate Sandton and the changes it is currently undergoing.
The manager sent a welcome platter for us which I indulged in before leaving for our spa treatment.
The hotel has 290 rooms and suites (Standard, Business class, Suite, and Penthouse) that will immediately make you feel welcome with warm, neutral tones and comfortable furnishings.
SERVICES & AMENITIES AT THE HOTEL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT:

Environmental copper recycling Copper is one of the oldest metals known to humans, with evidence of its use dating back to 8,000 BCE. It was originally discovered in the Middle East, where it was used to create decorative objects and tools. The metal’s exceptional properties were quickly recognized, and it became a valuable commodity for trade. Over time, copper’s versatility and durability led to its use in a wide variety of applications, such as construction, electrical wiring, and coinage. Copper’s distinctive reddish-brown color and malleability made it ideal for decorative objects, such as jewelry and statues. Copper was also highly valued for its use in tools and weapons, as it was much harder and more durable than stone or bone. As early as 4,000 BCE, copper was being mined and smelted in Egypt and the Caucasus region, and it was traded along established trade routes throughout the Mediterranean and Near East. In the centuries that followed, copper continued to be a vital commodity to many societies. In ancient Greece, the metal was used to mint coins that became the standard currency throughout the Mediterranean world. The Romans used copper in plumbing and aqueducts, as well as in coins and decorative objects. Medieval European lords would sometimes issue copper coins during times of economic hardship. Today, copper is still one of the most widely used metals in the world. Its excellent electrical conductivity makes it ideal for use in wiring and electronics, while its ability to dissipate heat makes it essential in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Copper is also the second most used metal in construction, behind only iron, thanks largely to its excellent corrosion resistance and malleability. Despite its widespread use, copper remains a valuable and highly sought-after commodity. The metal is still mined in numerous locations worldwide, with major producers including Chile, Peru, and China. As demand for copper continues to grow, particularly in developing economies like China and India, the metal is likely to remain a vital component of modern civilization Scrap metal purchaser Copper scrap volume Copper scrap export permit Copper transformer recycling Copper scrap sourcing Metal waste recovery yard
Scrap Copper value Copper sulfate is a blue-colored compound that is commonly used in various industrial applications such as electroplating, as a means of controlling algae growth in swimming pools, and in the production of pigments. While copper and acid are two of the main components used in the production of copper sulfate, it is not possible to make copper sulfate by simply reacting copper with an acid. This is because copper does not react readily with most acids. Copper is a relatively inert metal that is not easily oxidized or dissolved in acid. In order for copper to be converted into copper sulfate, it must first be oxidized to convert it into a soluble form. The oxidation process involves the addition of oxygen or other oxidizing agents to the copper to create copper ions. One of the most common methods used to oxidize copper is by using sulfuric acid, which is a powerful oxidizing agent. However, simply mixing copper with sulfuric acid will not lead to the formation of copper sulfate. In fact, this reaction would generate hydrogen gas and copper(II) ions: Cu + H2SO4 в†’ CuSO4 + H2. The formation of copper sulfate actually requires the addition of a specific amount of sulfuric acid to the copper, along with some other chemicals such as air or oxygen. The process involves a series of steps including the dissolution of copper in sulfuric acid, the addition of oxygen to produce copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate, and the subsequent filtration and drying of the product. In summary, while copper and acid are two important components used in the production of copper sulfate, it is not possible to make copper sulfate simply by reacting copper with an acid due to the inherent difficulty in oxidizing copper to produce copper ions. A specific process must be followed which includes the addition of several other chemicals in order to produce a usable product Metal waste recovery Copper scrap trading company Copper scrap purity testing Copper scrap material reclamation Copper scrap industry insights Metal scrap reclaiming yard
