Being a mom of 3 has taught me a lot about baby products!
During the last 5 years, I’ve tried a ton of different products and brands thanks to the blog! I feel a bit like an expert. 😛 I think all experienced moms are somewhat experts in the industry.
You know what they say… “Moms know best” and that was my biggest reason for launching the Momsays platform. I want to give experienced and first-time moms an opportunity to test out products and services.
My last born, Kirav is already a-month-old and during the last month, I’ve used some of these products religiously. These are products that make life with a newborn baby so much easier especially if you have more than one child.
As a mom of 3, I want products that are convenient and easy to use but I also want quality for my money! These brands won’t let you down.
Here are my Top 15 Must-have Products for a Newborn Baby:
1. Tiny Love Cozy Rocker Napper
The Rocker Napper features gentle rocking movements and vibrations that can help soothe baby and develop body sensation and control. You can control the level of stimulation by activating or deactivating the product’s various features. My favorite feature is how easily it converts from a seat to cozy napper. You can find out more about the product here.
2. Bepanthen Bum Cream
This is one of my favourite bum creams! It is expensive but so worth it, especially for a newborn baby. Bepanthen can also be used for cracked nipples and bruises.
3. Doona Carseat/Stroller with Essential bag
I used the Doona car seat with Kiaan (my second born) and now I’m are using it with Kirav. I can’t imagine life without Doona – I am obsessed with this product and the reason for that is because it screams out convenience. I recently received the essential bag which I think is a must-buy when purchasing the Doona car seat. It has many compartments inside the bag which allows you to carry all your essentials when shopping and the best part is it can be clipped on the stroller!
4. Sleepyhead Pod
I’ve used this product every single day since Kirav was born. Since we are co-sleeping at the moment, this has been a lifesaver for me! It also fits perfectly in a cot which is a big bonus for me when I am moving my son into his cot in a few weeks time.
5. Ubbi Nappy Caddy
A nappy caddy was always an essential product for me because it is so easy to carry nappies, bum cream etc around the house and change baby where ever you are. If you are not investing in a changing table, this product will also help a lot.
6. ELEKTRA – ULTRASONIC COOL AND WARM STEAM HUMIDIFIER
This is another product that I’ve used religiously from Day 1. A humidifier is definitely a must-have product if you have kids. I’ve got a bad cold at the moment – this has been a lifesaver for me in the room since I can’t take many meds now.
7. The Milk Mama Cover
I was a bit skeptical about getting a cover for the stroller at first but this versatile cover is amazing!
You can use it as a:
- Nursing Cover for Breastfeeding.
- Infant Car Seat Cover.
- Infinity Scarf.
- Trolley Seat Cover.
8. SNUZA HERO/Angelcare monitor
I am a paranoid mom that keeps checking on my baby every hour to see if he is breathing. The Snuza is perfect when you are traveling or shopping, It can be attached to your baby’s nappy and will alarm you if something isn’t right. For home, you can invest in an Angelcare monitor.
9. Stokke Flexi Bath
This is one of my favourite products from the brand. I bought one when it first launched in South Africa – it lasted close to 4 years! I recently purchased another one for Kiaan and Kirav. The foldable baby bath suitable from birth to four years. The space-saving design makes it easy to store and convenient to use at home or when traveling.
10. Sleeping bag/Muslin Blankets
I suggest getting a sleeping bag for baby and investing in a few muslin blankets! Newborns love being wrapped a burrito. It helps them sleep better.
11. Nosefrida “The Snotsucker” Nasal Aspirator
The Nosefrida “The Snotsucker” Nasal Aspirator is a safe and effective way of cleaning your baby’s nostrils. The non-invasive design forms a seal outside the nostril instead of going inside. Then by the power of your own mouth, you can create the suction necessary for aspiration.
12. Epi-max/Epi-zone
Epi-max is a must-have in my house! I also think it is perfect for newborns as it is very mild and works well on dry skin. Epi-zone is perfect to use when baby gets baby acne or eczema.
13. Telament drops
You will most probably be using this product weekly for your newborn because they end up getting stomach cramps from gas so often. Many babies also end up getting colic which can be a nightmare for new parents! 🙁
14. Windi
If your newborn is struggling with gas, I suggest you get Windi! It can relieve your baby’s discomfort in an easy and natural manner. The treatment takes a few minutes and your baby will feel the results immediately. Windi is completely free from hazardous substances and chemicals such as BPA and PVC. I’ve already tried this product with Kirav and I must say I’m impressed!
15. Baby carrier
A baby carrier is a must for me. Newborns love skin-to-skin and they sometimes will refuse to go down for a nap. If you have more than one child, I suggest you think about investing in a carrier, it will keep you sane!
Check out the Pod baby carriers which are on sale ->www.podbabycarriers.com.
Also, make sure you download a white noise app, my son sleeps so much better when he hears the “fan” or “motor engine” of a car.

Most of these products I have already bought for my baby. Talement drops and Windi, are they very essential for babies. I searched many places i couldn’t find these two.
Being a dad to a lovely daughter, I can also say that you should keep a nasal drop at home. Very helpful for blocked airways. Little change of weather and bang! Kid has nose blocked. May I also suggest that if you are a traveling mom, or daddy, get a travel diaper bag? Nice write up! http://easytravelgear.com/best-travel-diaper-bag/

Copper scrap price trends The global economy is in for a copper squeeze. Copper, also known as “Dr. Copper” due to its ability to serve as an economic indicator, is a vital resource for infrastructure, technology, and transportation. As the world continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for copper is expected to soar, leading to a potential supply shortage and an increase in prices. The copper market is currently facing several challenges. One of the biggest is the lack of investment in new copper mines over the past decade due to low prices. This has resulted in an aging copper supply chain that may struggle to keep up as demand increases. Additionally, geopolitical tensions in Chile, the world’s largest copper producer, could disrupt supply chains and impact global prices. Moreover, the ramp-up of electric vehicle (EV) production is driving the need for more copper, as EVs require significantly more copper than traditional vehicles. This demand is expected to increase further as governments around the world aim to reduce carbon emissions and promote a sustainable future. Overall, a great copper squeeze is coming for the global economy. The demand for copper is likely to increase, while supply may struggle to keep up, putting upward pressure on prices. This will impact multiple industries, from construction to tech, and could have ripple effects throughout the global economy. As always, it will be important for policymakers and businesses to think strategically and find solutions to this imminent challenge Metal recycling facility Copper scrap smelting technologies Copper scrap buyer Recycled copper market analysis Copper scrap contracts Metal recovery facility

Copper scrap yards Copper is a vital component of modern technology. It is used in everything from electrical wires and motors to wind turbines and solar panels. With the world turning towards renewable energy, the demand for copper is set to soar. However, there are concerns that the supply of copper may not be able to keep up with demand. One reason for these concerns is that the largest copper mines in the world are aging and becoming depleted. Copper mines require significant capital investment and can take years to develop, which makes new mines risky for investors. Additionally, mining copper can have negative environmental impacts, especially in areas with delicate ecosystems. Another factor affecting the supply of copper is geopolitical tensions. Major copper-producing countries such as Chile and Peru have experienced political instability, which has disrupted copper production. In addition, there are concerns that increasing demand for copper could lead to resource nationalism, where countries restrict their exports of the metal to protect their domestic industries. The shortage of copper could have serious implications for the energy transition. Renewable energy technologies require significantly more copper than fossil fuel-based technologies. For example, an electric car requires four times more copper than a conventional car, and a wind turbine requires nine times more copper than a natural gas-fired power plant. To address the looming supply gap, there are several options. One is to increase recycling of copper. Recycling brass, which is made up of copper and zinc, is relatively straightforward, but recycling cables and other copper-containing products can be more challenging. Another option is to develop new copper mines and expand existing ones. This requires significant investment and regulatory approvals. In conclusion, the future of copper is uncertain. The supply of copper may not be able to keep up with demand, which could have significant implications for the energy transition. It is up to policymakers, investors, and industry leaders to take action to address this issue and ensure a sustainable future for copper and the technologies that rely on it Scrap metal marketing Copper shredding technology Electric motor copper scrap Copper scrap refining methods Copper scrap furnace technology Scrap metal inventory management
