It’s for the whole family, with kids’ entertainment and jumping castles, live music by Awkward Times and The Oh So Serious, cocktails and beer on tap, and delicious PIC NIC baskets from Town and The Potato Shed. All to be enjoyed on their back lawn, forming part of Newtown’s historic railway-line heritage.

There’s plenty safe, underground parking available at Newtown Junction and Work Shop New Town forms part of this family friendly pedestrianized precinct. And their heritage lawns are ‘growing’ courtesy of Belgotex Floors DuraTurf.

“Work Shop New Town has just launched a family friendly “PIC NIC” in its green lane, which will be held every Saturday outside Work Shop New Town and The Potato Shed from 11am to 4pm.

Expect wonderful picnic blankets and baskets with delicious food offerings, kids’ activities, live music, cocktails and beer, urban lawns, plenty of shade, and some great shopping with more 50 local designers at Work Shop New Town to choose from.

An example of tasty PIC NIC basket options is the Veuve Cliquot basket from The Potato Shed featuring lamb on the spit, a selection of cheeses, a garden box salad, twice-baked potato slices, loukoumades and a bottle of bubbly or the “Squab” Dim Sum basket with Nutella and banana dim sum for the kids.

Located in a family friendly, pedestrianized precinct, Newtown is safe, vibrant and easily accessible with more than 2000 parking bays in Newtown Junction.”

  20. Scrap copper logistics There are several reasons why copper wire is not used as a fuse wire. Firstly, the main function of a fuse wire is to protect an electrical circuit from overloading and short-circuiting.
