The NickFest is back in Johannesburg March 2017

Bigger and better than ever, NickFest will welcome thousands of kids and families to The TicketPro Dome in Johannesburg on 25 and 26 March for an amazing weekend of music and family fun, packed with entertainment, activities, events and experiences for all ages.

Thrilling kids and parents alike, NickFest brings families together thanks to its unique combination of live music from South African A-listers, character shows, and appearances by Nickelodeon superstars SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol, and – for the very first time – Shimmer and Shine!

New for NickFest 2017 is an amazing free extreme sports attraction where kids can try out trikes, bikes, skates and wheels of every kind, and enjoy an interactive graffiti wall. And of course there will be lots of Nickelodeon’s trademark slime – gallons and gallons in the awesome Slime Area – now bigger and stickier than before!

Kids and parents can also look forward to the KinderJoy interactive area which showcases the Magic Kinder app and a special appearance by the KinderJoy mascot Kinderino.

During the two-day festival, The TicketPro Dome will be totally transformed into a‎ Nickelodeon wonderland inspired by the channel’s colourful on-screen worlds. There will be two sessions each day, with morning sessions starting at 09:00am and afternoon sessions at 15:00 pm. Details of performers and other attractions will be released shortly.

Tickets for NickFest are already on sale at www.ticketpros.co.za and selected Edgars, CNA and Postnet retail outlets, priced R290 per head, or R270 per person for a family of 4-6 people. (Groups of 10 or more people: priced R250 per head).

Entrance is free for children under 2. Entrance to the Slime Area is priced at R150.

It’s also essential for the batteries that power electric vehicles. With more and more countries committing to transitioning towards green energy, the demand for copper is only going to increase. At the same time, the recovery of economies from the COVID-19 pandemic is driving a surge in demand for construction materials, of which copper is a key component. This increased demand is pushing copper prices up and is expected to continue as countries invest in infrastructure projects as part of their recovery plans. The consequences of this copper squeeze are far-reaching. It’s likely that copper shortages could cause delays to infrastructure projects, increasing their costs and potentially hurting economic growth. Additionally, the rise in copper prices will have ripple effects throughout the economy, impacting everything from consumer goods to electronics.
