There are so many reward programmes available in South Africa at the moment but the question is which ones are actually worth it?
If you want to know how to get your hands on free product samples for baby, click here.
Let’s talk about the beauty industry today… It’s an overwhelming booming industry worldwide! There’s a new beauty salon popping up almost every month but let’s face it, as much as we love to get pampered, we can’t afford to do all the treatments we love often because of the cost of living.
As a mom of 3, my budget for beauty treatments is limited, however, I visit my beauty salon every month to do my eyebrows, upper lip, mani and pedi if needed.
What if I told you that you can earn “money” while getting pampered?
Yes, many beauty salons offer a rewards programme which may seem silly at first but so worth it once you join! You end up saving on a few treatments plus you get spoilt on your birthday!
Most women prefer getting their eyebrows, manicures, and facials done at a beauty salon by a professional. So if you are going to spend money at a beauty salon anyway, why not spend it at a place that is going to offer you value for your money like the Placecol beauty salon!
I’ve visited 2 different Placecol beauty salons in the past 2 months and I must say I am impressed! I’ve already received a ton of messages informing me of specials and promotions which offer an extra treatment for FREE! For me, that is already a bonus but that’s not all the Imbalie group offers.
How to get Free Treatments from Beauty Salons in South Africa:
The Imbalie Rewards Programme is a points-based programme that rewards you for doing what you love… spoiling yourself at their salons.
Membership is absolutely FREE, so you have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
The programme simple, easy to understand, flexible, and very rewarding. Their system does all the work so all you have to do is to sit back and enjoy the programme.
You can earn points at any Imbalie Beauty salon – Placecol, Dream Nails, and Perfect 10.
How you can earn Points:
No matter what you spend at any of their salons, whether it’s on products, treatments or gift cards, you will be rewarded with points. You can earn points at any Placecol, Dream Nails, and Perfect 10 salon but you will be awarded more points at your home salon where your membership was activated.
The more you spend, the higher tier you will be on. The higher your tier, the more points you will earn.
Members who qualify for the next tier will be upgraded on a monthly basis. They will only downgrade members once a year.
They will also reward you with BONUS POINTS every time you re-book an appointment, refer a friend or buy a new product.
Just for activating their membership, Gold members will receive 50 welcome points and Platinum members will receive 100 welcome points.*
And on that very special day, your birthday, they will award Silver members with 100 bonus points, Gold members with 150 bonus points, and Platinum members with 200 bonus points.
How to Spend Your Points:
It’s simple. Each point is worth R1.
Unlike some other programmes, you get to decide when and how you redeem your points on the treatment of your choice. If you don’t want to spend all your points in one go, you get to keep the balance, which then grows with each visit.
You can check your points balance in store, on your till slip or on their Rewards Programme microsites, as well as in e-mails they will send you from time to time.
They have tried to keep the programme rules to a minimum. To see all the Ts&Cs, please click here.
If you have any questions or would like to know more please contact the Imbalie Rewards Programme Member Service Centre available toll-free on 0861 11 22 22 (during office hours, 8h30 to 16h30) or via e-mail at [email protected].
They are many other beauty salons in South Africa that offer reward programmes. 😉
Clicks have partnered with Sorbet beauty salons so you can earn points at any of their salons which then can be used to purchase products at Clicks. To be honest, I still prefer my Placecol rewards card (own a Sorbet rewards card too) just because of the specials the group offers.
I suggest you research the reward programmes available for salons and sign up to a few to see the benefits. 😉

Copper scrap revenue optimization There are a number of federal guidelines and standards related to copper that help ensure public health and environmental safety. One important set of regulations is the Safe Drinking Water Act, which sets limits on the levels of various contaminants in drinking water. Copper is one of the contaminants that is regulated under this law, with a maximum contaminant level of 1.3 milligrams per liter (mg/L). In addition, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has established a number of guidelines for the proper handling, storage, and disposal of copper-containing materials in order to minimize potential environmental impacts. For example, the EPA has guidelines for copper smelting and refining operations, as well as for the handling of copper-containing waste materials. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has also established guidelines for the protection of workers who may be exposed to copper in the course of their work. These guidelines cover a range of potential hazards, including exposure to copper dusts and fumes, as well as the use of personal protective equipment. Finally, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has established standards for various consumer products that may contain copper, such as children’s toys and jewelry. These standards are designed to ensure that the products are safe for use and do not pose a health risk to consumers.
