It’s the school holidays!
As much as I love having my daughter at home, there are days where we all need a break to have some fun outdoors! Honestly, I’m tired of screaming “Pick up this mess” and I’m tired of watching DORA on TV so today I am taking Kitana for the Dora the Explorer Live musical at Emperors palace. I’m surprising her so I cannot wait to see her reaction when she finally meets Dora.
This July holidays there’s so many exciting events happening throughout the country! Too many to choose from! I managed to make a list of my favorites which I hope you will love too.
2 weeks ago, my daughter and mom attended the Disney on Ice production which was a magical experience. They still raving about it! I am a bit disappointed that I missed this year’s event but I am still on high from Disney World where I met Anna and Elsa. 😉

For the first time in South Africa, Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff from Disney’s Frozen join characters from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Disney●Pixar’s Cars and Toy Story 3, along with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Copper scrap trade shows Copper has been used by humans for thousands of years, dating back to the Neolithic period. Its malleability, ductility, and resistance to corrosion made it an ideal material for tools and weapons. In fact, the Copper Age, which began around 4500 BCE, was characterized by the widespread use of copper tools and artifacts. One of the earliest known uses of copper was the production of copper beads in the Balkans around 6000 BCE. These beads were likely used as decorations or currency. Copper also played a significant role in the development of metallurgy, as it was one of the first metals to be smelted from ore. In ancient Egypt, copper was used to make jewelry, tools, and weapons. It was also used in medicine, as copper compounds were believed to have healing properties. The famous Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor is made of copper, and its greenish-blue patina is a result of the metal’s reaction with oxygen in the air. Copper was also highly valued in ancient Greece, where it was used to construct the famous bronze statues of the gods. The metal was often mined from the island of Cyprus, which is where the word “copper” comes from. In the Americas, the indigenous cultures of South America, such as the Moche and Incas, used copper for making jewelry, ceremonial objects, and tools. Copper was also an important trade item, and copper-smiths were highly respected members of society. Overall, copper has played a vital role in human history, and despite advances in technology and the use of other materials, it remains an important metal in modern industry and construction Scrap metal reclaiming management Scrap Copper composition analysis Copper scrap industry partnerships Copper circuit board recycling Copper scrap machining Metal scrap yard recycling
Copper scrap traceability Copper is a versatile and widely-used metal that is highly valued for its properties like high thermal and electrical conductivity, excellent corrosion resistance and ductility. It is used in a variety of applications from electrical wiring to piping systems. The manufacturing process of copper involves several steps, including mining, crushing, grinding, flotation, and smelting. Mining: Copper can be found in deposits around the world. It is extracted from copper ore by mining. The first step in this process is to locate copper deposits that are deep within the earth. Then, explosives or drilling are used to blast and drill the ore. Next, the ore is extracted using mining methods such as underground mining or open pit mining. Crushing and Grinding: Once the copper ore is extracted, it needs to be crushed and ground into a fine powder. This process is known as comminution. The crushed ore is then sent to a ball mill where it is grounded into a fine powder. The ore particles are then fed into a series of flotation tanks where they are mixed with water and chemicals to separate the copper from other minerals. Flotation: The flotation process is a crucial step in the production of copper. The crushed copper ore is mixed with water and chemicals to create a slurry. This slurry is then placed into flotation tanks where air is pumped into the mixture. The air bubbles attach themselves to the copper minerals and float to the surface, forming a copper-rich froth. Smelting: After the copper concentrate is obtained through the flotation process, it is sent to a smelter where it is heated to high temperatures to separate the copper from other impurities. The smelting process involves adding fluxes, such as limestone and silica, which help to separate the impurities from the copper concentrate. The process also generates sulfur dioxide gas, which is later recovered and used to produce sulfuric acid. Electrorefining: The copper produced through smelting is around 99% pure, but further refining is necessary to achieve a purity level of up to 99.9%. Electrorefining is the most common method used to purify copper. Electrorefining involves passing an electric current through a copper electrode in a solution of copper sulfate. This causes the impurities to become attached to the electrode, which is then removed. Final Processing: After electrorefining, the copper is cast into plates or bars for further processing. The final step in the production of copper is to shape the metal into its final form, using processes such as drawing, rolling or pressing. These final products are used in a variety of applications, from electrical wiring to household appliances. In conclusion, the manufacturing process of copper involves several steps, including extraction, crushing, grinding, flotation, smelting, electrorefining, and final processing. Each step is crucial in the production of high-quality copper, which is used in a variety of industries around the world Metal scrap repurposing services Copper chromate recycling Scrap copper sorting Scrap Copper yard Copper scrap resale value Scrap metal commerce
