This competition only opens November 1st.
It’s almost December, can you believe it?!
The countdown to Christmas officially begins… Kitana is super excited and has already started writing letters to Santa!
I am beginning to stress out a little because I have not planned or budgeted for Christmas gifts as yet.
Many South Africans have felt the pinch this year.
This year has been hectic for me especially since I have 3 kids and just paid a huge deposit for Kitana’s school. As much as I would love to spoil my loved ones this year, I have to watch my budget and prepare for the craziness of January when my little girl will be starting preschool.
When it comes to gifting, I always try to make sure I get something that fits in with the person’s personality. It’s not all about expensive gifts. For me, it is more about sharing special moments together that you will remember years from now.
Sometimes it is the little things that count. I remember moments spent with special people. Things like my first messy mouth mommy kiss, holding sticky hands with a special somebody and definitely messing around with ice-cream and chocolate. Gifts that make simple moments unforgettable!
A Christmas morning favourite in my family is chocolate. Wake up to something sweet – like a box of Cadbury Glow pralines – which can help you bring back the simple joy of giving and receiving a thoughtful gift. An extra R5 000 incentive would also make anyone glow.
Cadbury Glow is luxurious chocolate pralines wrapped in delicious Cadbury chocolate that will melt in your mouth, leaving you wanting more.
It’s the perfect gift for any occasion!
Who doesn’t love a box of chocolates? ????
This festive season you can also share a ‘Glow Moment’ with family and friends by designing your own inspirational e-Card with a personalised message that you can then download and share on Facebook and Twitter! Go to www.glow.cadbury.co.za for more information.
Bring back sweet cherished memories with your loved ones and share that special ‘Glow’ moment.
What would you do if you won a R5 000 shopping voucher?
I know, Christmas isn’t all about gifts but when you have a 5-year-old who is asking Santa every day for a scooter, you try your best to make that dream a reality.
I would most probably end up buying gifts for my family and maybe spoiling myself with an outfit or two.
Cadbury Glow wants to make dreams come true this Christmas! They want to help you with that festive Wish List!
Two lucky consumers will be spoilt with a Glow shopping experience worth R5 000 each!
How to win with Cadbury Glow:
All you need to do is visit Cadbury Dairy Milk’s Facebook page pinned post and answer an easy question:
What would you buy if you won the shopping voucher worth R5 000?

Hi Shan, my son turns 7 today & besides his birthday present he too has a Christmas wishlist! It’s overwhelming at times cos you also don’t want to give-in to every demand/want…..but I guess Christmas and birthdays are special occasions meant for some spoiling. So would love to get him Lego Dimensions for his play station, a Fitbit for hubby & a spa treatment for myself – would love some pampering!
This is so awesome, would really love to win for my babys first birthday party in November. WOULD REALLY, REALLY LOVE TO SPOIL HER LIKE SHE DESERVES…. my one and only child
Hi.If I had to win,I would love to send my parents on a boat cruise. After my dad experienced a major heart attack,an angiogram and 2 stents put in and several admissions to the ICU,I realised that my parents are my biggest blessings.I would love a car but material things don’t come close enough when you have your parents to love and cherish.
Oh awesome, thank you Cadbury for this opportunity. Winning this super-duper prize would mean a great deal, how wonderful it would be to use the R5000 shopping voucher on groceries (Cadbury treats for all included of course), son will be heading off to Grade 2 next year (stationery will be the least of my worries), a few super cool gifts for my boy, some outfits for me and something special for his dad. A little something for everyone in my household. Being a sole provider can be quite tough on the pocket and unfortunately I don’t bonus this time of the year. This voucher will come in very handy. Keeping fingers x #GiveCadburyGlow

Copper radiator scrap buyer During the Roman and Medieval times, copper smelting was a major source of pollution that had a lasting impact on the environment and human health. This is evidenced by recent research that found traces of ancient copper smelting pollution in Greenland ice cores dating back to the 1st century AD. The study, published in the journal Environmental Science & Technology, analyzed ice cores from two locations in Greenland – the NorthGrip and NEEM sites. The ice cores contained layers of sulfur and copper pollution that could be traced back to specific periods of history. According to the study, copper smelting pollution was most prevalent during the Roman and Medieval periods. During these times, copper was a highly valued metal used in various industries, including coin minting, architecture, and weaponry. The smelting process involved heating copper ore, which produced large amounts of sulfur dioxide gas and other pollutants that were released into the air. These pollutants were carried by the wind and eventually settled in the ice sheets of Greenland. The study found that the levels of copper and sulfur pollution in the ice cores were highest during the Roman and Medieval periods, and then declined gradually over time. The impact of copper smelting pollution on the environment and human health was significant. The study notes that sulfur dioxide can cause respiratory problems, especially in those with pre-existing conditions such as asthma. Copper pollution can also lead to neurological and cardiovascular problems, as well as damage to the liver and kidneys. The study provides evidence that ancient copper smelting pollution had a lasting impact on the environment. The researchers note that the decline of copper smelting pollution in Greenland ice cores occurred around the time of the Industrial Revolution, which saw a shift towards cleaner energy sources and improved environmental practices. Overall, the study highlights the importance of understanding the historical impact of human activities on the environment, and the need to continue to strive towards sustainable practices and cleaner technologies Metal waste recovery and reuse Copper scrap recycling company Efficient copper scrap utilization Copper scrap value Scrap copper pickup Resource conservation in metal scrap industry
Scrap copper cathodes Copper is a widely used metal that has played a significant role in the development of modern life. From electrical wiring to plumbing, transportation, and renewable energy systems, copper is an essential component of many everyday products and technologies, making it one of the most valuable metals in the world. One of copper’s most significant properties is that it is an excellent electrical conductor, which is why it is commonly used in electrical wiring and equipment. Copper wires are used in nearly every building, vehicle, and machine that requires an electrical current to operate. Additionally, electronic devices like smartphones, computers, and gaming consoles also contain copper as a primary component of their internal circuitry. Copper is also a crucial component in the transportation industry. Cars, trucks, trains, and airplanes all require copper for their electrical systems, engine components, and other vital parts. Copper’s durability, malleability, and resistance to heat and corrosion make it an ideal material for use in a range of transportation applications. Furthermore, copper is vital in the production of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power. The metal is used in the construction of solar panels and wind turbines due to its excellent conductive properties and ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions. In fact, each wind turbine requires several tons of copper for its internal components, which generate electricity from the power of the wind. Copper’s importance can also be seen in the medical industry. Copper is used in the production of medical equipment, such as X-ray machines, MRI scanners, and surgical instruments, due to its ability to conduct electricity and its antimicrobial properties, which make it an effective material for preventing infection in healthcare settings. In conclusion, copper is an indispensable metal that is crucial to modern life. Its applications are numerous, ranging from electrical wiring and equipment to transportation, renewable energy systems, and even healthcare. As technology advances, the demand for copper will only continue to increase, making it a valuable resource for generations to come Air quality control in metal recycling Scrap Copper wire prices Scrap copper safety standards Copper scrap inventory management Copper scrap negotiations Environmental metal stewardship
