I know I’ve been quiet recently on the blog and to be honest it’s because I’m just so overwhelmed at the moment. I have a month and couple days left of my pregnancy (which is freaking me out) because I haven’t bought any clothes for my son yet, a 3-year-old who is obsessed with Dora (wish she never existed right now) and I’ve got a bladder that never lets me rest or sleep.
It’s so bad that wherever I go I’m always searching for the nearest toilet. Do you know what’s worse than wanting to pee all the time? Peeing only a spoon full!
I went to watch a movie recently, I was sitting in the middle seat of the row. Movie began and I needed to pee! Trying to walk past 6 people with a big belly in a dark room while holding my pee was total torture! By the time I reached the toilet… it was like pointless. A few drops… that was it! Are you kidding me? I just missed an almost naked Channing Tatum scene for this.
As your baby moves deeper into your pelvis, you will feel more pressure on your bladder. The truth is you will laugh, cry, sneeze and cough pee when you pregnant. Wetting your pants becomes a regular thing but it doesn’t end there…you still have to pee in a cup every time you visit your gynae and sometimes the punishment stays after pregnancy.
I think peeing in a cup for my gynae has taught me the perfection of scoring, I can finally bend my pee like Beckham! 😛
Joke of the day:
Since I became pregnant, my breasts, rear-end, and even my feet have grown. Is there anything that gets smaller during pregnancy?
Yes, your bladder.
Gas and constipation might arrive with your new bladder…
Have you ever bent down to pick up something and ended up letting out gas?
Kitana says: “Mommy made an oopsie”… How embarrassing! 😮
I sit down with a cup of tea and good book trying to relax and then I need to pee…. Darn, Christian Grey was just getting the party started! 😉
The crazy thing is that some moms suffer with this even after pregnancy. Yep a little pee when you sneeze or even jump. It is not something to be embarrassed about but it does happen. Naturally one’s bladder becomes weaker as you get older. I have heard that Kegel exercises help strengthen the bladder, the reality is that we need to be aware of this and take remedial actions before it becomes too late….
I’ve heard that many women suffer from ‘involuntary incontinence’, because we do not understand that the bladder and urethra can move during pregnancy or even be affected by an episiotomy.
A mother’s bladder is baby’s squeeze toy during pregnancy…
I have discovered that we can treat this and control it rather than let it control us. A visit to a urologist can assist but before that I’m going to try the Kegel exercises. Hopefully this problem will soon be a thing of the past.
To perform Kegel exercises, you should:
- Keep your abdominal, thigh, and buttocks muscles relaxed.
- Tighten the pelvic floor muscles.
- Hold the muscles until you count to 10.
- Relax the pelvic floor muscles until you count to 10.
Do 10 Kegel exercises in the morning, afternoon, and at night. They can be done anytime — while driving or sitting at your desk. Women who do Kegel exercises tend to see results in four to six weeks.
I’m trying to make the most of the last couple weeks and just enjoying everything that comes with pregnancy. 😛 I’m not complaining, I’m just sharing what’s on my mind. I hope you enjoying these weird pregnancy posts as much as I enjoy writing them.

Omgee 🙂 the story of my life right now 😛 27 weeks & counting…
Oh my gosh I am so glad you wrote this! I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed with my bladder this last month of the pregnancy… never thought I’d actually be this afraid of laughing. And seriously, they need to give us a funnel or something at the Dr now because I can’t even see down there anymore.. how am I supposed to aim into the pinhole sized cup!
Oh my goodness, I have totally been there. My favorite is when you have to go so bad, and then, nothing. All that baby pressure!
Oh, I remember those days. It’s just the gift that keeps on giving, because it’s never quite the same after the baby comes!
Oh boy. I have a small bladder (or what I think is…) as it is. So I’m wondering how that’s going to affect me when I become pregnant. LOL. I’m going to be one of those who pee’s constantly.
I was lucky in that my bladder was not a trampoline for my babies. And even after having said babies, everything went right back to normal. You poor thing, I am sure you are miserable.
I have heard about kegel exercises and I will now start practicing them before my time comes to have kids. Great post
Oh my the small bladder, im not pregnant but sometimes i have to go constantly and when i run to the bathroom just little drips. I cant hold it in no longer and feels like my bladder is the size of a peanut somedays. Not much longer and you will be free to pee normaly
Those graphics are so funny! I’ve never been pregnant but I know from family friends that bladder control is rough during the last few weeks. I once took a 1 hour drive with a pregnant family friend and we had to stop for potty breaks every 15 minutes!
I can definitely relate to this. I heard doing kegel exercises is very helpful. I wish I would have tried that.
My mom suffers from light bladder incontinence and she does kegel exercises. It works for her.
Oh my goodness I remember those days! Once we were caught in traffic coming home from some place and I had to pee so bad I was in pain – those babies put a bunch of pressure on our bladders!
Ahhhhhh peeing was the worst when I was preggo!!! I was lucky and didn’t have morning sickness but I think the fact that I had to pee nonstop made up for that lol
Haha! This is amazing – I can’t imagine what you guys have to go through. We havne’t had a kid yet but I’m sure I’ll be hearing all about it soon enough.
Funny enough, I don’t remember if I had issues with my bladder when I was pregnant! I think if I had I would have remembered! Lucky me, I guess?!
I love the humor of the comics! I know I will never experience this issue in my life, that is why I am so proud and grateful for all the mothers who bears the pain of child-bearing. You all deserve love and respect!
Thank you for sharing your genuine experience as honestly, I had no idea! There seems to be a lot of things books just don’t share about pregnancies!
Oh mama I remember those days….vaguely, but I know what you mean.
Thanks for the tips and I definitely need those pelvic tightening!
lol I can relate. I remember those days very well. 🙂
This cracked me up! It is so true and can be super annoying. I remember trying to take some road trips later on during my pregnancies and it was a nightmare. To many bathroom breaks!

Scrap copper analysis Copper is a highly conductive metal that is commonly used in electrical wiring and circuits due to its low resistivity. However, when it comes to transmission lines, copper is not often the preferred choice due to a few reasons. First, copper is a relatively expensive material, which makes it cost-prohibitive for the large-scale infrastructure required for transmission lines. Aluminum is a more economical option that offers comparable electrical conductivity and strength. Secondly, copper is heavier than aluminum, which makes it more difficult to transport and handle. This can increase logistics costs and make installation and maintenance more challenging. Lastly, copper has a higher thermal expansion coefficient than aluminum. This means that copper wires and cables tend to expand and contract more significantly in response to temperature changes. In transmission lines, this can cause stress on the connectors and fittings, leading to failures over time. While copper may be the preferred choice for some smaller-scale electrical applications, aluminum is generally considered a better fit for large-scale transmission lines due to its price, light weight, and thermal expansion properties Scrap metal inspection Copper scrap valuation Copper scrap compliance Copper scrap yards Copper scrap reclamation techniques Scrap metal recycling technologies
Copper scrap industry insights Cyprus, also known as the Island of Copper, is the third-largest and easternmost island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is located south of Turkey, west of Syria and Lebanon, north of Egypt, and east of Greece. The island has a rich history that spans over 10,000 years, with evidence of human habitation as early as the Neolithic Age. As its nickname suggests, Cyprus has a long history of copper mining and trade. The island’s abundance of copper deposits has been a significant resource for its people throughout the ages, with copper being used for making tools, ornaments, and even currency. The Greeks named the island Kypros after the Greek word for copper, and this name eventually evolved into the modern name Cyprus. Cyprus’s strategic location has made it a desirable location for many empires and civilizations over the millennia. The island has been ruled by Egyptians, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Ottomans, and British, among others. Each of these occupiers has left an indelible mark on the island’s history, culture, and architecture. Cyprus’s modern history is shaped by its status as a former British colony and its subsequent independence in 1960. However, the division of the island between the Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots in 1974 continues to be a contentious issue. The north of the island is still occupied by Turkish forces, while the internationally recognized Republic of Cyprus governs the south. Despite its tumultuous past and current division, Cyprus remains a popular tourist destination, known for its beautiful beaches, quaint villages, and ancient monuments. Its rich history and culture draw visitors from all over the world, making it a fascinating place to explore and discover Scrap metal recovery center Copper scrap recycling solutions Copper alloy composition analysis Copper scrap purchasing contracts Copper forgings recycling Scrap metal quotations
