Here’s why you should be taking your vitamins after having a baby

  • Iron

One of the most common things that women often lack is iron – I’m still struggling with it.

Iron helps to make red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all the other parts of your body, including your major organs. Iron depletion can cause you to feel tired and fatigued and you may experience trouble concentrating.

  • Calcium

It takes approximately 6 months to replenish calcium stores after pregnancy and because calcium is an essential mineral in bone health it is important for mothers to invest in their bone bank so that their bones become stronger and less vulnerable to osteoporosis later in life.

  • Vitamin A

Did you know after giving birth, your body’s demand for vitamin A increase?

At birth, babies have low vitamin A, so your baby is depending on your breast milk to meet its vitamin A needs.

  1. As a first time mom I’m still coming to terms with adjusting to life post pregnancy. Its honestly beautifully draining. Everything you allude to in your post makes sense, I have been experiencing it for weeks now and couldn’t fathom why.
    Out of the blue I hunted for the last box i had left before welcoming my child in May and Started retaking these supplements a day ago. Ive felt a huge amount of difference. I’m less weaker, tired, feeling less coocoo (yes it’s been at that point for me????). Although the dizzyspells are still somewhat there they aren’t so much that I could blackout like before.
