Shopping during Christmas can be a nightmare – especially if you have to take your kids to a mall. At least at Cresta, you can be assured of activities that will keep them occupied. The best part about this is that I can do my shopping without worrying about cranky and tired little ones that absolutely hate shopping – unless it is for them of course. Cresta offers some amazing kids activities and a Santa photo booth. Who knows maybe this year we can convince Santa to answer our letters and make our wishes come true! Cresta is running a competition where shoppers can win a gift card to the value of R5000. All you have to do is take a selfie at specially created selfie spots and upload it on social media.
Besides shopping with a toddler, my five going on fifteen-year old, and hubby (exhausting thought – right), I also have my little baby. I hate going shopping with him because breast feeding and changing him could become a challenge. I was so pleased to discover a mall that took this into consideration when they created a baby room fantasy. A little nursery for me to feed and change Kirav.
An additional bonus to bargain hunting for the specials at over 260 shops in the mall is the fact that not only do I save on the festivities but find that Santa has little elves that wrapped my gifts for free. With the kids gainfully occupied – baby changed and fed, shopping list seriously shortened, and Christmas gifts wrapped, I actually had a few moments to create my own special memories …
My Cresta experience this year was memorable. Hubby and I created our very own Magnum pleasure experience at the Magnum Pleasure Bar. Imagine your favourite flavour ice cream coated in silky milk chocolate covered with decadent almonds topped with chilli flakes and dried berries that create an explosion of flavour in your mouth. Let us not forget the sparkles of gold dust, and add the fact that I could experience my very own creation at the mere cost of R40, well I was sold.
Kids are also able to experience the Nutcracker marching band and dancing ballerinas. The lights, festive décor and spirit of Christmas was amazing at this newly renovated mall. Adding to festive cheer during this season of giving and generosity was a Charitable Festive Tree. This year Cresta has made it even easier for shoppers to give back by creating a giant tree bookshelf reading corner that allows shoppers to donate new or pre-loved books that will be donated to a children’s home in the Cresta Community. Children stories will be read to those looking for a moment to pause, relax and enjoy. Reading times are at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.
Even though Santa returns to the North Pole at 18:00 you can still shop ‘till you drop at Cresta Shopping Centre with extended shopping hours between the 8th and 26th of December: Mondays – Saturdays 09:00 – 20:00 and Sundays & Public Holidays from 09:00-18:00.
Because Christmas is about so much more than just shopping …. it’s about creating special moments with special people …

Scrap copper end markets Copper is a commonly used metal for electrical wiring due to its suitability for conducting electricity. Here are some reasons why copper wires are preferable for electrical applications: 1. Conductivity: Copper has a high electrical conductivity, which means that electrical current can flow through it easily. This property makes copper wire an ideal choice for electrical wiring, as it can efficiently transmit electricity with minimal resistance and energy loss. 2. Durability: Copper is a hard and durable metal that can withstand harsh conditions, making it ideal for use in electrical wiring applications. Copper wires can handle high temperatures and resist corrosion, ensuring their longevity. 3. Availability: Copper is abundant in nature and relatively easy to extract and process, making it readily available and cost-effective for use in wiring applications. 4. Flexibility: Copper wires are highly flexible and malleable, making them easy to shape and bend. This property makes copper wires suitable for use in applications that require wires to be run through tight spaces or around corners. 5. Compatibility: Copper is compatible with most other metals, connectors, and insulation materials used in wiring applications, making it versatile and easy to work with. Overall, the unique combination of copper’s electrical conductivity, durability, availability, flexibility, and compatibility makes it the preferred choice for electrical wiring Metal scrap facility Copper tubing recycling Copper scrap acceptance criteria Copper scrap granulation Copper scrap annealing Scrap metal reprocessing and salvage
Copper scrap melting processes Copper is a naturally occurring element found in the Earth’s crust and can be commonly found in various environmental sources including soil, water, air, and rocks. While copper is essential for human health and plays a role in various enzymatic reactions within the body, exposure to high levels of copper in the environment can pose potential health risks. One of the main concerns with excessive copper exposure is its toxicity. Studies have shown that high levels of copper in drinking water can lead to gastrointestinal issues such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Additionally, long-term exposure to copper may result in liver damage, kidney damage, and anemia. Copper exposure has also been associated with potential developmental and reproductive risks. Studies have shown that exposure to high levels of copper may lead to developmental delays and neurobehavioral problems in children. In pregnant women, exposure to copper may cause fetal malformations and low birth weight. Furthermore, copper exposure can have environmental implications. Copper pollution can lead to soil and water contamination, which may result in negative impacts on plant and animal life. In aquatic environments, high levels of copper can be toxic to aquatic plants and animals, affecting the overall ecosystem. It is important to note that while copper is essential for human health, excessive exposure can pose potential risks. It is recommended to limit exposure to copper sources and ensure proper levels of copper intake through a balanced diet. Additionally, regulatory measures and monitoring of copper pollution in the environment can limit potential health and environmental risks associated with excessive copper exposure Metal scrap compaction Copper scrap shredding Copper radiator scrap buyer Copper scrap resource recovery Copper scrap compliance Metal scrap market research
