Keedo, South Africa’s most loved designer children’s clothing brand manufactures comfortable, fun and colourful children’s clothing with designs that inspire a love for nature.
About Keedo:
The brand was founded by Nelia Annandale in 1993.
I had the pleasure of meeting this stunning woman about 2 years back at an event and I must say she is so inspiring! She has built a brand that offers quality products. Fit and comfort are of utmost importance to the brand for their little customers.
All Keedo garments are designed and manufactured in Cape Town, South Africa, with complimentary accessories sourced firstly from local suppliers to ensure that your Keedo outfit is one to be admired.
Keedo’s core values underpin everything that the company does and inspire its staff to do better, every day.
The Keedo Way of Thinking:
Letting kids be kids – They do this through their designs and the material they use – cotton that is breathable and not irritating to sensitive little skins.
Giving back to our kids – The brand supports causes and uplifts many lives through numerous Keedo Cares social awareness projects.
Giving back to society – The brand strives to create local job opportunities where their workforce can be close to home (keeping an eye on their own kids).
Looking after mother earth – They try to instill a love of nature and mother earth through their designs and educational swing tags.
I’m excited to announce that I will be working with Keedo over the next couple of months showcasing some their awesome clothing available for your newborn to 5-year-old.
Some of my favourites:
During my last pregnancy, I ended up getting really frustrated trying to find a good range of gender neutral clothing available. Most stores either stock pink, blue, yellow or white! That’s it! How depressing. However, when I walked into the Keedo store at Mall of Africa, I literally screamed with joy at the gender neutral range available. I think I really understimated the brand.
They currently have a few specials on their online store. Shop here.

Recycled copper raw materials Copper is one of the world’s oldest known metals, dating back to ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians and the Romans. It has been used for centuries for various purposes, including currency, art, and weaponry. Copper is a reddish-brown metal with excellent conductivity and malleability, making it ideal for electrical wiring and plumbing. Its importance in the modern world cannot be overstated, as it is used in a wide variety of applications, including electronics, construction, and transportation. The mining of copper dates back over 5,000 years, with ancient civilizations utilizing copper ores found in the ground for a range of purposes. It was initially crafted into tools and weapons, and later used as a medium of exchange in various forms, including coins and barter. As time progressed, the use of copper expanded to include ornamental purposes, as well as practical applications such as kitchenware. The ancient Greeks, for example, made extensive use of copper vessels for drinking and cooking. This use of copper reflects its anti-bacterial properties, which make it ideal for cooking and storing food. Copper’s role in art and architecture can also be seen throughout history. The famous statue of liberty in New York City, for example, is constructed of copper. In terms of architecture, copper roofing and cladding have gained widespread usage for their durability and aesthetic beauty. While copper is a valuable resource, its extraction and utilization also pose certain environmental and social challenges. Despite this, its role in the modern world is indisputable, and efforts to address these challenges continue through sustainable practices and responsible management. In conclusion, copper has played a vital role in human history, and its importance continues to expand into the future. Its unique properties, versatility, and durability make it a valuable resource for a range of applications, from electronics to construction and beyond Scrap metal waste Copper recycling company Copper wire scrapping Copper scrap evaluation Copper scrap rolling Metal waste decommissioning
Copper recycling plant There are several copper alloys that are commonly used in electrical applications, each with their own unique properties and advantages. Here are some of the most popular options: 1. Copper – Pure copper is an excellent electrical conductor with high thermal conductivity, making it ideal for electrical wiring and other applications where low resistance is critical. However, it can be relatively soft and malleable, so it may not be the best choice for applications that require durability and resistance to wear. 2. Copper-beryllium – This alloy contains small amounts of beryllium (usually less than 2%) and is known for its high strength, fatigue resistance, and excellent electrical conductivity. It is often used in switches, connectors, and other applications where high reliability and durability are important. 3. Copper-nickel – Copper-nickel alloys (also known as cupronickel) are valued for their excellent corrosion resistance, making them a popular choice for marine and other harsh environments. They also have good electrical conductivity and thermal stability, making them suitable for applications such as heat exchangers and electrical connectors. 4. Copper-tin – Copper-tin alloys are known for their high wear resistance and strength, making them a popular choice for applications such as bearings and bushings. They also have good electrical conductivity and are resistant to corrosion in many environments. 5. Copper-silver – Copper-silver alloys are often used in electrical contacts due to their excellent conductivity and low contact resistance. They also have good wear resistance and can perform well in high-temperature environments. Choosing the best copper alloy for a specific electrical application will depend on a variety of factors such as the desired conductivity, strength, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance.
