This post will be taking me back in time… remembering those moments when my son was just so little.
When all he did was poop, drink milk and sleep.
My son has grown so much … (I‘m still trying to wrap my head around how fast babies grow) and now… well, he is a little man who is on a mission! He spends most of his day playing with his sister’s toys and the rest of the day holding on to mommy. He is a momma’s boy.
We are still breastfeeding so he is super attached.
Even though he has his own toys, he loves investigating in his sister’s room. They share almost everything even the Tiny Love Gymini Move & Play which has now become a play mat in the toy room.
Tiny Love is such a clever brand! They always create products that last long-term and will make you wonder: “Why on earth didn’t I think of that first?”… I guess the reason the brand works is because everyone behind the team is a parent. They understand what parents need especially today in the millennial world.
During the first 3 months, it’s so important to encourage tummy time for your little one. Tummy time can help your baby develop strong head, neck and shoulder muscles and promote certain motor skills. Tummy time can also prevent the back of your baby’s head from becoming flat (positional plagiocephaly). Source: Mayo Clinic.
The Tiny Love Gymini Move & Play can be used for babies that are 1-month-old! It is perfect to practise Tummy time on.
Tip: Place baby on his tummy, facing the mirror: his intriguing reflection will encourage him to extend tummy time.
By the time your little one is 3 months old, they are ready to explore the world.
Tip: Move the hanging baby toys to the appropriate distance from baby’s palm, so that when they raise their hand – they can hit the toy, or later, grasp it with ease.
FEATURES:
- The revolutionary arch connector offers endless playtime options.
- Sliding rings enable flexible toy positioning.
- Extra large mat allows for extra play space.
- Getting baby in and out is hassle-free!
- An excellent product for extending tummy time.
What do you need to know?
Moderate the level of stimulation offered by the Gymini Move & Play by moving the arches and toys away or towards baby and turning the lights & music feature on or off.
If baby seems uninterested or bored, he might need more stimulation. Activate the lights & music toy and watch his reaction. Hang up some extra toys on the arches, rattle the toys and see how baby reacts to the noise. Gradually, reduce the number of stimuli to help baby focus.
To stimulate baby’s body sensation and control, place him on his tummy. Tummy time helps babies gain control over their muscles and movement. Move the arches so that the lights & music toy or mirror are in front of the baby. Monitor baby’s reactions and tries to see which features he enjoys and which he could do without.
WHAT I LOVE:
- So easy to put up.
- Lovely hanging toys and music system that grabs baby’s attention.
- Adjustable heights for accessories, so baby can reach different levels.
- The mirror is a good add-on for tummy time.
- A colourful mat that will always leave baby curious.
- Perfect for tummy time.
- A Large mat that can be used in the toddler stage.
- Easy to clean (machine washable).
- Unisex mat.
- You can add on toys if you have extra links.
- Teething toys that can be taken out of the mat.
- The edging strip provides safety for your baby who just learnt how to roll about.
WHAT I DISLIKE:
- Not really easy to fold the sliding rings.
- It is also a wee bit pricey.
PRICE:
Currently on sale on takealot.com for R 1,399. Please note: Price may change.
MOM AND BRANDS RATING:
The only reason it scored a 3 is because I wish it had a bag which will make it the perfect play mat to carry during travel. I’m big on travel so I think having a play mat that can be easily transported would be awesome! It’s not easy to store and unfortunately, I am not a big fan of the 2 sliding rings which help set the mat in place.
It’s a great baby shower gift idea if you are willing to splurge a bit on your bestie! 😉

Awww.. now that is so adorable. Very wonderful keeping their attention – reminds me my niece should have something like this, haha!
That play set is super duper cute. When my kids were that age, I had something similar and they loved it.
This would be the perfect christmas gift for my niece! She will be almost at this stage in about 3 months and I know y Sister in law would LOVE it for her! I agree the prices seems a bit steep, but I will spoil this little girl rotten so its worth it! 🙂
I have a little one in the family, and I’ve been trying to figure out what to get her for Christmas. You just solved my problem!
Awww….How precious! I sure miss the baby days and the adorable toys. The gymni looks like baby will have hours of fun! I will share this with my SIL who just had a baby! 🙂
My boys used to have a play mat just like this and it was such a life saver. Not only was it cute, it was very engaging for them so it allowed me to get a moment or two to myself.
The playset looks so cute and fun. I can totally see how engaging it would be for a little one.
This Tiny Love Gymini Move & Play sounds great for little ones. I love the toys attached to this mat. it looks like a great mat for the little ones to be active on and awesome for motor skills. Thanks for sharing this mat and it would make for a great gift idea.
I have one of these for my daughter. She loved it. I didn’t get one for my boys. Once my son was old enough, he loved a jumperoo that I got.
Omg how fun is this toy?!?! A bestie of mine just had a baby. This would be perfect for her little dude!!!
This looks like such a fun mat for kids! I love all of the toys attached. I’ll have to pick one up!
This toy really has lasted for a long time! My son is turning 21 and he had almost this exact same Gymini when he was a baby! He loved it. I would use it when I needed to do dishes, or make dinner and I could keep an eye on him and he could roll around and play.
This is such a great toy for babies! It looks like a toy that would get a lot of use and enjoyment.

Copper acetate scrap purchase Copper has been used by human civilizations for thousands of years, dating back to the Bronze Age, which is named after the alloy of copper and tin that was used to make tools and weapons. While it is believed that copper was discovered by ancient civilizations such as the Sumerians and Egyptians, it was the ancient Greeks who gave it the name “kyprios”, which means “of Cyprus”. This is because Cyprus was known for its rich copper deposits, which were exploited by the ancient Greeks. Throughout history, copper has played a significant role in various aspects of human life, from art and architecture to medicine and industry. Copper is a versatile metal that is malleable and ductile, making it easy to work with. It is also a good conductor of electricity and heat, which makes it ideal for use in electrical wiring and plumbing. In antiquity, copper was often used for making decorative objects and jewelry. It was also used to make coins, which were an important means of currency in many civilizations. Copper was also used in construction, particularly in roofing and cladding. The ancient Romans, for instance, used copper extensively in their buildings, and it was even used to sheath the hulls of their ships. Copper was also used for medicinal purposes by the ancient Egyptians and Greeks. It was believed to have healing properties and was used to treat various ailments, including eye infections and intestinal worms. Today, copper is still used in some medical applications, such as in the manufacture of surgical instruments. In industry, copper is used in a wide range of applications, including electrical wiring, plumbing, and manufacturing. It is also used in the production of alloys, including brass and bronze. Copper is a renewable resource and is easily recyclable, making it an environmentally sustainable material. In conclusion, copper has played a crucial role in human civilization for thousands of years. From its use in art and architecture to medicine and industry, it has contributed to the growth and development of our societies. Copper scrap mold casting Sure, here are some best practices for copper electrical connectors: 1. Use the Right Type of Connector: Copper connectors for electrical applications are available in different types such as crimp connectors, twist-on connectors, and compression connectors. It is important to choose the right type of connector based on size, application, and voltage rating. 2. Clean the Connectors: Before inserting the wires, ensure that the connectors are clean and free from dirt, oil, or oxidation. You can use a wire brush or sandpaper to clean the connectors if necessary. 3. Strip the Wires Correctly: When stripping the wires, ensure that you do not cut the wire strands or expose too much of the conductor. A general rule is to expose about 5/8 inch of the conductor, enough to fit into the connector and create a solid connection. 4. Use Proper Termination Techniques: When inserting the wires into the connectors, use proper termination techniques, such as crimping or compressing, to ensure a secure connection. 5. Use the Right Tools: Use the right tools, especially crimping tools and wire strippers to make sure that the wires are stripped and crimped correctly. This will improve the connection quality and reliability. 6. Use Anti-Oxidation Compound: Copper connectors are susceptible to oxidation, which can cause poor conductivity or even cause the connectors to fail over time. Using an anti-oxidation compound, also known as no-ox, can help protect the connectors from oxidation. 7. Label the Connections: When dealing with multiple connections, label each one to make sure that they are correctly connected and to prevent any potential issues during maintenance or troubleshooting. By following these best practices, you can achieve high-quality, reliable connections for your copper electrical connectors Scrap metal environmental impact Copper smelting services Copper scrap distribution Scrap Copper wire prices Copper scrap material composition Metal waste separation
