I recently had the opportunity of reviewing Volvo’s XC60. I was thrilled, this was my first car review… I’m hoping it isn’t my last. To be honest I always had a perception of Volvo and never considered it when shopping for cars but all that changed once I experienced the brand for myself. This has taught me.. Never Ever Judge a book by its cover, sometimes there are surprises waiting for you. I will be doing my review of the brand in 2 different posts because honestly one post just isn’t enough to give you all the important information.
This has to be one of the easiest reviews for me because I don’t have to sit here and think about what I want to type. I already know why I love the car and hence I decided to make a list. I’m in love with this car and hoping that they will choose me as their Mom Ambassador. *Hint Hint Volvo* 😉 ..!
10 reasons why you should consider Volvo’s XC60:
1. Child Lock
It’s so annoying when you realise that you sitting on the side that has child lock and you have to wait for someone to open for you…most of the time they forget about you.. sniff.. This happens to me all the time..
With Volvo the Child Lock access is available within the car. There is no need to get out of the car and lock it manually in the rear doors. You can handle this feature from the driver’s seat. Big plus for me.
2. Active High Beam
This feature really wowed me! Talk about intelligent driving. The car automatically adjusts the lights and “follows” the cars in front so it doesn’t dazzle the drivers.
3. Side Mirrors
The side mirrors can be adjusted so that they move down automatically when going in reverse and goes back to position when driving off again.
4. Radar controlled cruise control
Speed can be set but it automatically adjusts to the speed of the car in front of you, if the speed of that car is less than the set speed.
5. Driver collision warning
If u drive up to a car too fast, it will warn you to brake with red light on the dash.
6. Lane departure warning
If you go off the line, the car will beep to tell you get back into the lane.
7. Boot automation
Press the button and it will open or close on its own.
8. Hooter
The hooter alarm can be accessible from the key directly. So if you cannot find where the car is parked, you can manually initiate it and simply follow the sound.
9. Theme
The theme colour of the dash/speed screen can be changed to green, blue or a classic look. Customize your screen the way you want it.
10. Heated Seats
Automated heat seating that works on its own if it gets too cold.
Volvo is all about safety and that what attracts me to this brand, my next post will go into more detail about this. Learn about how Volvo is designed around you and your family: www.volvocars.com.

Nice review. I love the interior of this car and the “driver collision warning.” Good luck on being chosen as Volvo’s Mom Ambassador!
great review, I would love the child lock feature for sure but everything about this car is right. thanks for sharing
This is a great looking car!
I’ve always loved volvos. We had a cross country for awhile and then downsized. Maybe when I’m all grown up again, 🙂
Volvos are absolutely beautiful!
Great review. My husband is in love with this car…
I have always heard that Volvo’s were always one of the safest cars out there. I really like the options that you showed. Wish I could afford one, but my beater van will have to do until then. 🙂

Electrolytic copper refining Copper is one of the most popular materials used in electrical wiring for a number of reasons. First and foremost, copper is an excellent conductor of electricity. This means that it allows the flow of electrical current with minimal resistance, resulting in less energy loss and higher efficiency. Copper also has good thermal conductivity, which allows the wire to dissipate heat safely and efficiently. Additionally, copper is relatively easy to work with, both in terms of manufacturing and installation, making it a popular choice for electricians and engineers. Copper is also highly resistant to corrosion. This is important because electrical wiring is often exposed to moisture and other environmental factors that can cause rust and deterioration. Copper oxidizes relatively slowly, producing a thin layer of copper oxide over time that protects the metal from further corrosion. This makes copper a durable and long-lasting material for electrical applications. Furthermore, copper is abundant and widely available, making it an affordable choice for electrical wiring. With its combination of electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and affordability, copper is considered the standard material for electrical wiring in most applications. While other materials, such as aluminum, can also be used for electrical wiring, copper remains the most popular choice due to its superior performance and reliability Metal waste inventory management Copper fitting recycling Copper scrap recycling plant Copper scrap handling equipment Copper scrap transportation Scrap collection services
Copper processing efficiency Copper mining has played a crucial role in the development of human civilization for thousands of years. The first evidence of copper mining dates back to ancient societies in the Middle East and Africa, where the metal was used for tools, weapons, and decorative objects. Early copper mining techniques involved digging shafts and tunnels into the ground using primitive tools like picks and shovels. The copper ore was then extracted by heating it in fire pits and pounding it with rocks to break it down into smaller pieces. This process was labor-intensive and inefficient, but it was effective enough to supply the growing demand for copper in the ancient world. As civilization advanced, so did copper mining. In the 19th century, new technologies like steam power and explosives transformed the industry, enabling miners to extract larger quantities of copper from deeper mines. Copper became a vital resource in the Industrial Revolution, powering new inventions like the telegraph and electrical generators. Today, copper is still incredibly important in modern society. It is used in a wide range of industries, from construction and transportation to electronics and energy production. The mining process has also become much more sophisticated, with advanced technology like autonomous trucks and drones being employed to increase efficiency and safety. However, copper mining is not without its controversies. Environmental concerns around the use of large quantities of water, energy, and chemicals in the mining process have led to calls for more sustainable practices. There are also disputes over land rights and labor practices, with some communities feeling that the costs of mining are not worth the benefits. Despite these challenges, copper mining remains a key industry for many countries around the world. It provides jobs and economic development, and the metal itself is an essential component in many of the products we rely on every day. The history of copper mining is a testament to human ingenuity and our ability to harness the resources of the earth for our own benefit Scrap metal reclaiming Industrial copper waste management Certified copper scrap buyers Exporting Copper scrap Copper machining waste recycling Metal scrap processing efficiency
