Are you enjoying Tuesday Ten? If you not sure what Tuesday Ten is all about, read my first post here.
I started bottle feeding both my kids from around 5 days old. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long with Kitana because I got really lazy to express breast milk and she refused formula so I had a whole lot of bottles collecting dust in my cupboard.
This time things, are a little different because I am more dedicated to expressing and I am working. At the moment, I am feeding Kiaan breastmilk and formula because my breast milk flow isn’t the best at the moment to express and feed. Before you start judging me for mix feeding, I know … but it is working for us.
It can get really confusing shopping for bottles and everything that comes with it. I tried 7 different brands before Kiaan stuck with one! 7 brands, can you believe it? I had no idea that nipples could be so different even though they look alike. Babies are smarter than I thought. 😛
There are soooo many bottle brands – I will do this as a separate post soon but if you a breastfeeding mom and you want to try bottle feeding, you need to start with Mimijumi. The brand recently launched in South Africa and I can already predict that it will do extremely well.

Copper scrap future outlook Copper is a versatile and essential metal that is used in numerous applications across various industries. Its properties, including thermal and electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and ductility, make it one of the most widely used non-ferrous metals in the world. Copper is used in manufacturing electrical wiring and in the construction of buildings and infrastructure, among other things. One of the biggest consumers of copper is the construction industry. Copper is used for roofing, rain gutters and downspouts, electrical wiring, and plumbing in buildings. Aside from being durable and resistant to corrosion, copper provides aesthetic value to buildings, making it a popular choice among architects and designers. The electronics industry is another significant consumer of copper. With the rising demand for electronic devices, copper has become an indispensable material in the production of computers, smartphones, and other gadgets. Copper has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, making it a preferred choice in the manufacture of printed circuit boards and other electronic components. The transportation industry is also a major contributor to global copper consumption. Copper is used in the production of automobiles, airplanes, and ships due to its durability, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and corrosion resistance. Transmission and powertrain components utilize copper, which also plays a role in improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. The renewable energy sector is another growing area of copper consumption. Copper is a key material in the production of wind turbines, solar panels, and other clean energy technologies. Its high conductivity and resistance to corrosion make it a popular choice in the construction of renewable energy infrastructure. Overall, global copper consumption continues to grow because of its versatility and essential properties. Copper is used heavily in construction, electronics, transportation, and renewable energy sectors, among others. With the rising demand for technological advancements and sustainable practices, copper is set to remain an essential component in many industries Metal scrap reclaiming services Copper scrap sustainability initiatives Copper sulfate recycling Scrap Copper grades Copper scrap industry insights Metal scrap reprocessing
Copper wire bar scrap procurement Copper is a crucial component in the world’s transition to renewable energy, electric vehicles, and modern-day technology. It is needed to power a vast range of applications, from solar panels and wind turbines to electric cars and smartphones. However, as demand for copper continues to grow, so too does the risk of a looming supply gap. This could significantly impact the energy transition and pose a challenge to the world’s efforts to mitigate climate change. The supply of copper is currently strained due to a variety of factors. The global pandemic has disrupted supply chains and production, resulting in lower output from some of the world’s largest copper producers. In addition, many of the world’s mines are aging, with declining reserves and increasing extraction costs. As a result, new copper discoveries are becoming increasingly scarce, and it is becoming more challenging to replace depleted reserves. The most significant challenge facing the copper industry is that demand is expected to continue to grow rapidly, driven by the rollout of renewable energy and electric vehicles. In fact, the International Energy Agency predicts that copper demand for electric cars could increase ten-fold by 2030. Furthermore, the transition to renewable energy and the electrification of transportation will require vast amounts of copper wiring, infrastructure, and storage systems. In short, copper is integral to the success of the energy transition, and its supply must increase to meet demand. To prevent a shortage, copper producers will need to find new sources of copper, reduce extraction costs, and maximize efficiency. One potential solution is to promote the use of recycled copper. Recycling copper requires less energy than mining, and it has the added benefit of reducing waste. Additionally, copper producers may need to explore alternative mining techniques, such as deep-sea mining or the use of robotics and automation. In conclusion, the world’s transition to renewable energy and electric vehicles is reliant on copper production, but the supply of this critical resource is under threat. It is essential that the copper industry takes action to address the looming supply gap to ensure that the transition to a sustainable future is not short-circuitedCopper has long been prized for its utility in electrical applications, from power transmission to electronics manufacturing. However, the growing use of renewable energy sources like wind and solar power, and the electrification of transportation, are driving demand for copper to new heights. As global efforts to combat climate change continue, copper is becoming increasingly important in the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. Renewable energy and energy storage systems rely heavily on copper wiring and components. Copper serves as a conductor in solar panels and wind turbines, as well as in power transmission lines. It’s also a critical component in batteries used for energy storage, such as those found in electric vehicles. In addition, copper is necessary for the construction of infrastructure that will support these new energy technologies, including charging stations and smart grids. As the world’s largest producer of copper, Chile is poised to benefit from this growing demand. The country’s copper industry has already experienced a surge in investment as demand for the metal has increased. Copper mining operations are expanding, with new projects underway to extract copper from deep underground deposits and from ore bodies that require more complex processing. Investment has also been made into improving the country’s infrastructure, such as expanding ports and roads to support new copper mining projects. However, the increased demand for copper also presents challenges. A significant increase in mining activity could lead to environmental and social impacts, including deforestation, water pollution, and disruption to local communities. There are also concerns about the potential for supply shortages as demand for copper continues to grow. To address these challenges, the mining industry is exploring new technologies and methods to improve the sustainability of copper production. One such technology is bioleaching, a process that uses bacteria to break down copper from low-grade ore deposits. This method is less energy-intensive than traditional mining methods, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing the need for toxic chemicals. Another approach is to increase copper recycling rates, reducing the need for new mining projects and conserving natural resources. The future of copper in the energy transition is an important issue that policymakers, industry leaders, and consumers alike must consider. While demand for copper is likely to continue to grow, it must be balanced against the need to protect the environment and local communities. Sustainable mining methods and greater emphasis on copper recycling can help to ensure that the world’s transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future is not undermined by the impacts of copper mining Metal recovery processing Certified copper recycling Scrap copper communication Scrap copper sorting Copper scrap material reclamation Industrial metal waste reduction
